Possible, but he is still in contract.

I hope he does go. Subaru need to decide to do the rally properly and put in the time money etc to win it or pull out. They are probably treading water and will put in a big effort with the new sti for next year but their effort since 04 have been rather marginal. Solberg is probably cant be bothered sorting a new car.

That would make a great team. Atkinson number 1 driver.....we will be in for some great results......not.

I know he is under contract till at least the end of next year but surely the opportunity to get into a well developed car that is capable of winning must be a big lure as opposed to starting with a new car from scratch.

As above, fairly certain he only recently signed on again for 3 years (maybe around rally Dermany?)

I'd imagine Mikko Hirvonnen would be #1 driver for Ford and Jarri Matti Latvala would pick up the #2 spot. Matthew Wilson would sit around cupping daddys balls for another few years.

Or Ford might even pickup Francois Duval ?

Contracts means SFA is motorsport though. Fernando just got out of a 3 year big dollar contract. The right dollars and conditions will see Solberg out of Subaru I'd imagine.

Solberg has hardly proved shit lately, its not as if he is winning every rally. Not to mention, as much as we love the guy, his world championship in '03 was a fluke
