But then, who wants to buy a 93-96 wrx for 10K. You can bet it'd be thrashed harder than Paris Hilton. Not to mention the km's / wear and tear. a 5-6 year old wrx will still be reliable if service correctly and if you didnt want to, you wouldnt have to spend to much. Bunky GC8 on the other hand! Bit like that 32R in the F/S section. 12K ono with ONLY 58,50 genuine kms (ROFL) on it. Bet ya that would cost you another 15K over the course of a year

Yeah but the price of gc8 front cuts is well cheap, as long as you dont care about fancy things like AVCS, 6spd gear boxes, its pretty good BFYB

Ok, so u spend 10K and get a cheap wrx. How much are front cuts (5K??) plus labour etc.

If you werent doing it as a project car (and then its a different story) it'd be pointless. If you were selling an 01 /02 cheap (maybe 21-22K) you'd only be saving a few grand!

GC8 halves are about 3k now
