A story to make Subi owners rejoice
The other day I posted the abortion known as the new Forester - that would have made a few frown.
Redemption is at hand :) Read along and smile. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/05/evo-x-vs-sti-tsukuba-lap-times/ |
Thank christ it goes half decent, CAUSE ITS STILL AS UGLY AS A DEAD DONKEY FLY INFESTED BUM HOLE!!!!!!
...all this new fandangled set up and its still slower than earlier models...BOOOO!!!! UGLIER AND SLOWER THAN ITS EARLIER BRETHREN - feel the love :D |
but ...Neither car is quite as quick as its immediate ancestor though.
2005 STI still fastest so that should bring smiles to few owners here! |
Interesting that there is only 2 sec difference between the 1992 STI (Legacy RS-RA) and the new 08 STI.
|
16 years of tyre technology would give some ground there.
Braking prowess is vastly increased, however so is weight. No wonder a upgraded older Subi makes alot of sense :) |
what happened back in 98 and 01? the sti was quite a bit slower than the evo....
they came back though!! :) |

the RS-RA is hardly a good comparison to the australian delivered liberty tho. nice try ;) I downloaded the latest best motoring, looks like it could be quite win |
Good to see the Piggy managed to complete the lap quicker the 08 STI and EVO X
How often is the JDM version of the Evo/Sti different to the Australian version though? His point carries much credit considering these are all JDM models tested. |
the RS-RA wasnt exactly a full production model in japan either
