but ...Neither car is quite as quick as its immediate ancestor though.
2005 STI still fastest so that should bring smiles to few owners here!

Interesting that there is only 2 sec difference between the 1992 STI (Legacy RS-RA) and the new 08 STI.

16 years of tyre technology would give some ground there.

Braking prowess is vastly increased, however so is weight.

No wonder a upgraded older Subi makes alot of sense

what happened back in 98 and 01? the sti was quite a bit slower than the evo....

they came back though!!

the RS-RA is hardly a good comparison to the australian delivered liberty tho. nice try

How often is the JDM version of the Evo/Sti different to the Australian version though? His point carries much credit considering these are all JDM models tested.
