could be the gap on your driver window sealing because it does not have frame anymore my01+ it happened to me sometimes even at 120kmh depend on the wind flow though hehe

my car kinda does that too, sounds like air rushing in thru a very small gap, near the driver side side mirror/bonnet area, not very loud, but then i wasn't going that fast.
thot air is coming in from the windows, but then i'm pretty sure i checked that all my windows are closed and no air is coming thru the air vents, i dunno why. |

Anyway, there are shitloads of spots on almost any car that will cause wind noise like that as high speeds. Common sense son. |

its probably air getting through your windows...as impreza's don't have a frame that incases the windows. they may start to move out sometimes :P

i have never driven that fast but,
it may be an inner guard trying to fall off as one of mine managed to do this on the freeway if ur wheels are not weighted properly u will get a whirring noise not from previous experience but.... as i have noticed in a "friends" 04sti as you approach 220kmph the whole car will start to whirr all the way to the 245kmph speed limiter i dont think they are geared properly to do over 240 or maybe its just my "friends" car |
