Lol. And what do you think we're going to be able to do with those pics?

Something with a more normal angle and also a pic of your car would be a great help...

Hard to find those rims in the same colour as they are custom.

Rich,

They'll need a more standard angle as mentioned, do you have any NORMAL side on shots?

Blair, this pic should be better for the wheels, just recolour maybe...

Cheers,
Josh

Default 1st Photoshopping

Hey all,

Just thought I'd post up my first attempts at photoshop, havent used it ever before, so they are pretty average.

Found a great tutorial which helped - http://digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm

Hehe, very rough mate

Couple of tips...

Try find rims that are on the same angle as the rest of the photo. Otherwise it just looks spastic.

When your going to cut bits from other cars and paste them on, you need to cut really close around the edges. You can see on the convertible parts where there is white round the edges. Zoom in when your cutting so you can get as close as possible.

Using the highest res photos you can find is always a better base to start with. You dont have as much freedom or accuracy with a small photo.

Youve found the right tutorial to get you on the right track, so follow the tips in that, and just keep trying. Eventually you'll master the basics, then you can get into brushing etc.

thanks for the comments blair, very rough, but as said - first time using it, so very new to this stuff. I knew someone would say about the wheels!! tried to find a shot of them on the same angle to no avail, the convertible was off a camaro concept which was a crappy photo with lots of background ---

i think my first effort (top one) is best, coz i didnt go crazy. but definitely fun to do, just have to practice ALOT more!!
