Default Tube in or new tyre

Just wanting some opinions....

Got new rims and tyres on xmas eve and today got a puncture . Too close to the side wall to get fixed. Was told to put a tube in as it is a shit load cheaper than spending another $220 on a new tyre.....

What would you do?

Cheers,

Daren

take the hit in the wallet and write it down to experience.

How much you selling them for?? From memory 235 would be the widest I could go on my 17 x 7 rims.

Keep in mind that wider tyres will rub on your struts/coilovers.. You would want to do 225 max??
