2003 STi UK Spec - difference?
Posting for a mate...
What does this version have compared to the AUS version? I'm talking about this car, apparently it's a UK spec. Carsales link Cheers for any help, Ben

I'd be more interested in how (or why) anyone would import a UK STi (which will be the same vehicle as an Aus delivered car) and have it registered. Sure if it was a special edition or something maybe you would do it, but for a stocker?

Looking at the pics it does not have the Defi dash, other difference's would be no Brant, no cruise control, headlight level switch and rear foglight.

mate went and saw it last night. the owner reckons the only difference is a couple of badges and the ecu has been tuned.
i'll ask him about the other stuff... Cheers

that model looks like an 02 spec, i.e with the parts lewis has said are missing...
the ks are less, but maybe the speedo was switched out, as dont they use miles in the U.K??? They wouldnt have the brant as i think that was only an australian addition.. If i was u i would look for an aussie model rather than this one.. p.s do a search for uk models.. this is what i found.. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/329320.htm looks like its got the defi

Interesting the minor differences (forgot about Brant).
Pic of the dash of another UK 03 STi showing its not a Defi:  Unless the car is a bargain, I wouldn't bother.
