also depends on the copper,
i have 35% on mine, got pulled over, tested with the "proper tools" and copped a rating of 33%, i was nothing but helpful when he pulled me over even though i was running late (usually it pays off to be kind to cops) but no, he had to be an absolute prick and drop me with a yellow. at *that* point in time my tyres were wearing, and i had odd bits and pieces on the car that *needed* attending to.... as such the whole experience set me back close to $2K...... but i was unlucky

also it should be noted that the tint was the *only* thing i was booked for that night.... i had to suspect somethign was up when i got pulled over 3 times in 5 minutes within a radius of 900m -_-

Do you have any of their contact details? I can't seem to find any?

I'd like to get some tint done on my car, it's way too clear!

Should be less. I had my rexy done years ago for $200 including the strip across the front window. Recently had my Swift done for $220 (I blame inflation and the fact that he now has a family to feed... AND [VAN DAMN] to feed).

They would reject a claim depending on the circumstances surrounding the accident if they believed tint was a factor in the cause of it then of course your claim would get rejected + they know legal limits on tint unless you tell them otherwise and then once you've made your claim you take it to someone that wont dob you in....

best off just getting legal, it saves you time, effort and if the copas catchya which they always do it will save you money too

Nothing is illegal with a doctors certificate suffering migraine due to UV exposure. Make sure you have some copies of the certificate in your glove-box. It works for me and cops can’t argue with that.

Saw a big black Merc S320 today with legal darkness but mirrored tint. Looked sweet. Anyone had cops bust them for mirrored 35% tint?
