?? i cant see why the Pits would make you come back a second time, Especially if you addressed the two things you got 'yellowed' in the first place. Id say at end of the day commonsense prevails. They will check the whole car, and i guess you can do the same (prior to inspection) and spot anything that's out of whack and maybe clean/rectify so to save you an extra trip perhaps??

I've put heaps of cars over the pits during the last 4yrs and never once have I had to open the boot, possibly been lucky but I don't really think they care what's in there...........good luck.

hey guys just a quick update..
went to the pits today, got there 30 minutes early to pay and such (definately didnt want to be late)

the inspector just looked at my bov and tyres, checked all my lights and indicators and took the car around the block.

he didnt open the boot to check my spare so i guess taking my box out was just a waste of time but oh well right?

he also said my exhaust is definately too loud but the tester was away getting fixed so he could not test it. he said "i have removed the sticker but i will see you again soon about your exhaust" haha

thanks for the information guys, greatly appreciated

I cannot believe they allowed your car over with the boost controller.

Definitely illegal.

Lucky boy.

I have only ever had one yellow sticker, on my suzuki swift gti with heavy mods, years ago. 1st trip over let them pick everything, spent a week and 2 grand fixing all the shit, 2nd trip over the guy just ASKED if I had fixed everything, which i had, looked at the car from 5 meters away and passed it!!! WTF??? I almost collapsed on the ground where i stood after all the hassel i had been through. got to love the system.
