Default MY06 WRX and STI same short motor??

Seems that the both the MY06 WRX and the MY06 Sti short motors have the same part numbers… Safe to say they have the same internals??? Safe to say the pistons are the same?? Strange that they aren't promoting the MY06 WRX as having forgies or semi forgies or whatever they like to call em.... Are subie promoting the STI as having a forged type piston?? Are 06STI owners being conned?? I guess time will tell...... ping ping ping.... BANG!!!!!!

Matter of time really - fits into the 'world' car scheme of things. Just have to wait and see what happens over the next 12months.

If its the case, least we know the wrx can be modded to sti power levels safely.
Which is a good thing, not everyone is an sti player.

He is saying, mod the standard wrx to the sti's power level. the basic assumption being the standard sti power level is safe.
