Small little problem thats driving me nuts.
After driving my car, turning it off and getting out of the car, i get a static shock when i go back to close the door. Has anyone else experienced this or know howi can stop this? I thinks its also attracting more dust as well ![]() Thanks |

Yeah my car did the same, it picks up static from driving. Go to supercheap and buy an antistatic strip for a few dollars and mount it in the middle of the car so no-one can see it

i get that alot. it really shocks *literally. Well i observed that it may be due to the fact that we subconciously rub our feet on the carpet while changing gears or even at the traffic lights, and that produces heaps of static. Well my advice is not to move ur feet too much... lol dun think its possible tho. My counter to this problem is either get use to the shocking feeling or close the door wif your bum. =)

simple, touch the metal of the door before you touch the ground (make sure your touching door and ground at same time). no more zap
