^^ I agree. I had yokahama C-drives when i was running 16's, i think the s-drive's are the next level up. Very little road noise, and a great compromise between long wearing and very sticky. Thumbs up I say.

cool guys thanks - seems no stock other than yoko's so it might have to be:

V550 $300 (supa quiet)
S Drives $295
C Drives $280
A Drives $260

quoted from Tyres and More in Welsphool. I havn't pushed em or got prices for yoko's anywhere else yet

Bob Jane reccomended Maxis! $190 ftw!

Just replaced my tyres last week. Got Marangoni's from Ian Diffen tyre factory. $200 a pop. Super quite, I really can't believe the difference!

may aswell hijack thread, im looking at some tyres for the gram lights...235/40/18 managed to narrow it down to the bridgestone re001's and falken 615's did a search and seems like theyre both a decent tyre without any complaints..anyone running the re001's? Are the sidewalls stiff?

I run the RE001's. Sidewalls are bulk stiff, as in when i had a nail in the tyre and no pressure, it still looked inflated.

Love em.

For those looking for new tyres, make sure you get quality tyres and don't cheap out. Remember, all the money you spend on mods, your car, brakes etc mean nothing if the one item that connects you to the road is pathetic.
