Hey boys an girls,

ive got an MY04 WRX. done a lot of work to it, my goal was 300Hp at all fours.

i just finished my last mod to the engine last week and i was EXTREMELY disappointed. 274.3Hp.

Mods are:
VF39 at 1.1pounds of boost
front mount
550Hp walbro fuel pump
3" full exhaust with a dump and up-pipe
pacemaker extractors
decapped injectors
and im sure theres more but i cant member.

was thinkin bout boosting it up but i dont want to blow anythin.

spoke to Sean at ASG he said either a GT turbo (dont really wanna go to a after market turbo), or a new ecu. well i dont really wanna do that either coz as soon as i change ma ecu ill start to have problems an i know it.

so what im really asking is, do you think ill be fine with boosting it a lil more.???

1.1 is pretty much stock, can run upto 1.3 id say.

yea i know Sean is tryin to do me beta, but i really didnt have ma mind on changin to GT turbos or changin the ECU.

besides that, ive got everythin already done.

I'd ecu it. you'll be suprised what you'll get after playing with timing/fuel. Get full potential of what you've installed.

on my old ca18det went from 198 to 226rwhp by playing with fuel/timing alone on an aftermarket ECU, nothing else. you'll definitely see the gains.

yea but we're talking bout boxers here, they harder to get the numbers on. i mite just stay on what im on lol. i guess its only 25hp short.

300 is just a number.. how does it feel to drive? thats the main thing.. 274 should feel pretty good with a rush of midrange from the vf39..
personally i would have gone 1.3 bar also
