Question Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 215/45/17

Heya All,

I'm up for new tires. I'm chasing Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 215/45/17. Beaurepaires Myaree quoted me $380 a piece for that model. I'm looking 4 tires (a set). Is that price reasonably OK? Preferably South of teh River.

Cheers Guys
Gerry

$380 seems very high. You can get a lot better rubber for cheaper than that.

I deal with Shane at Exley's Tyres (on High Road). Always excellent service and prices.

I just put a set of Potenza adrenalin RE001's on my wrx last week. They were $275 a tyre and seem pretty sweet. If you have a look on the bridgestone site you can compare these to the RE050A's and there is basically no difference other then the price.

Something to think about anyway...
