Wide band AFR meter - good deal??
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AEM-GAUGE-TYP...QQcmdZViewItem
Is this a good deal? what did you guys pay for your wideband sensor kits? im looking to do some self tuning and understand you need a wideband O2 sensor to sucessfully tune. cheers, Steven. |

Stace, doesn't the PLM just use a bosch sensor? Why would it be any more accurate than any other controller that uses a bosch sensor, ADC resolution/accuracy aside? I also don't think the ADC resolution would have any effect considering the range of measurement.

the sensor has a proprietry calibration table against EGT, which is licensed by bosch only to certain manufacturers. (hence the 5 wire sensor).
means that the oxygen valure measured a 200 degrees, vs 900 degrees are way different. a wideband voltage table is very narrow as it is (even compared to a narrow band table), ive attached a shitty pencil drawing anyhow.
