Yeah, usually the story isn't it!! Franz did seperately, but that is EVO...
The word around the track seems to be that the kit is necessary on EVO, but not so much with WRX... this is why I'd be interested to know if anyone had coilys/ lowered car and THEN fitted the kit (and I suppose has some reasonable knowledge of handling/ how to steer a car as well).

Yeah. The roll centre kits is NOT designed to be put onto a stock or just slightly lowered car. Because when you lower your car alot the control arm and steering arms are moved out of their ideal positions. Its designed to return the suspension geometry back closer to OE spec for people have lowered their cars a lot. Took like 5 minutes on ebay to find that brace. Got it for a bargain from TCP. $5 plus delivery. LOL Its actually a GC8 brace but it fits my Legacy wagon easily. But it wont go on a RS Sedan without some cutting of the OEM support underneath the parcel shelf.

I fitted one to my car about 18 months after coilovers etc. It seems to make a positive difference...my knowledge of handling/how to steer....hmmm, a point of contention! |
