i've heard no news that it is actually DD (from radio through to signs on the freeway). Are people just assuming it is?

its definately double demerits.

Cops were out in force on my way down south today. Laser set up going through Williams, but the biggest shock of all, was the RBT set up at Arthur River... population od 12 ppl i think at last head count...

so what else is new...
