What sort of power level would stock injectors flow?
I'll change the pump (anyone using Walbros ?) first.

depends on what year car you have.

MY98 are 380cc's. MY99-MY00 are 440cc.

Buy a V4 STI front cut with low K's, cost about 7ish, swap everything over & sell the leftovers for about 4-5 g, you'll get 4.44 box, VF24, STI tune, Forgies, Alloy control arms, 4 pots....you'll easily get 2g for your low K motor, 1.5 for the box bout 800 for the remaining pannels then there's the wiring harness etc etc etc, should leave you well over 5g to sort the handling etc.
You could do the entire swap in a weekend with a couple of knowledgeable mates & no dyno time needed to have a nice strong car.
No point pissing around with the stock motor & box because they'll only last half as long with big power gains.

Lateral thinker! I should a thought of that!

Any wiring issues or plug and play?

Any links to a supplier? x-east I suppose?

JWS should have some, easier dealing with a local, I've seen complete 98 STI's for around 10g so they should have something.
Wiring is a straight swap over & you also get climate control, only downside is 180kph speed limiter but that can be fixed for about $130 with a HKS Speed Defender

1500 for a box?

Fuck ive got a 4.11 box and diff here for 1300 that no ones grabbed yet. 1500 is optimistic.

It's only done 100k & probably hasn't been thrashed to within an inch of it's life......& it was an estimate not an exact figure.
