Default Where do i put my amps??

Hey people,

Im installing my stereo in my GC8 at the moment, and im scratching my head over what to do with my amps and sub.

Ive looked through the forums here and i looked at scoobymods but couldnt find much.

I have 2 amps and a 12" sub in a box. In my old car i had the amps attached straight on the box, and then mounted the box on the back seat frame, but because the rear seats fold down and there is no frame, i cant do that anymore

I was wondering what you guys reckon, or if you could post pics of your setups. Id prefer to mount the amps in the boot, but im not sure where to put them.

Cheers

i have a 4 channel amp under the front passenger seat. fits in there quite nicely.

If you wanted them both in the boot, then i think youd have to make something up to mount them too?

id put them just behind the back seats, thats where mine is, ya have to unscrew all the seats first and then unhook the top(hard job to put back in), and drill holes, then screw them back up, dunno if its a good idea?! but thats what the previous owner did to my car.

Attach them to the side of the sub box, and either strap the box in after or alternative is to use heavy duty velcro on the bottom of the box to the carpet.
