my single biggest highlight with the car, is when john taverna, the street machine god, said a few words to me when "eamon" cleaned sweeped the category that year. as most of you that know me, know that the car was never built to win awards or any of that other self gratifying bullshit, just an excuse to have fun really, the recognition that comes with it, well that's just a laugh aswell. so for john to turn around, you have to remember his done just about everything and seen everything when it comes to world of modyified cars and say "you have one of the best cars i have ever seen, you should be very very very proud" it blows you away, because an outsider that isn't hung up on jeoulsy or alter ego's can give you the prop's you truely deserve. you have to admit, personally, i have yet to see another air-jacked, in-car adjustable sway-barred, pedal boxed, rollcaged ,7 fuel pumped, 19" wheeled, monster braked, carbon fibred wrx.....and that was only the beginning.

since 2006 i have been trying to take it to the next level. cosworth crate motor with quad throttle bodys, dry-sump lubrication and re-do everything we missed the first couple of times when the car was originally built. hopefully it all should come together very soon and the car should speak for itself.

and yes, when the time does come, it will hit the track. not how you think, but ill hire wanneroo and the motorplex for the session, myself, the people that built the car and naturally my closet friends all having goes at this madness that is the 'rw.

Having ridden in, seen or driven most of the previous mentioned rides at one time or another I am confident with this claim. Jonathons Mr WRX is another favourite.
I have to laugh at the memory of a test ride in a very young version of WRXRW. Scene is set in Applecross (who was in the back seat?)...WRXRW is launched ...bang into second, the old VF22 singing nicely as the tacho headed towards red. Then a Cop literally jumps into the middle of the road and flags Ramon over. I think Ramon was disappointed that the officer never even lifted the bonnet before the canary was applied, the Cop was muttering something about "externally venting blow off valves" and "what speed do you think you were doing? Luckily his partner had not yet set up the Radar gun
