Default Perth's best/greatest WRX/Subaru

With the X-speed/Ross Lockhart beast for sale and much discussion about various cars. please make a nomination for what you believe is Perth's Best WRX. We have threads about hot wrx's, now lets focus on Perth/WA and local cars.

You can't just put the car name down, it needs a reason.

some cars which come to mind (these are ust part of my list) are:

EXPLICIT: (MY00 wagon) for it's sheer brutality and looking outside the sqaure with full-house JUN engineering.

WRXRW: for pushing the boundaries of engineering in a WRX to levels which have yet to be matched and the level of detail to which everything is done.

NGH: (now play3r) for being a trend setter (hey, how many T-wings did is spawn in its first incarnation) and for once again, going a step further with shaved handles, glittery paint and Autosalon style.

SIR WRX: for being a beautiful car which has been tastefully modified and improved. My personal favourite as it has show and go without being in your face about it.

all of these cars have been innovators, trend setters and inspiration for others to follow.

Now over to you. I will compile results later on.

PS: no slagging off cars or owners. Keep that for other threads.

Toni

Gareths would definitely be up there with the best for sure! Just a very well built machine!

I would assume this can only apply to cars that actually still exist?

EXPLICT doesn't exist any more, and its on the list... so I assume no.

I have only ever seen 2 of the cars on Toni's list in real life, NGH and SIR WRX. I am still yet to see WRXRW in the flesh, but from pics, and the words said about it, it's hard to go past it. Ramon's attention to detail, from custom fabricated brackets to his all round love of Subaru's would make it a winner, hands down..

applies to any Perth/WA based car, living or not.

from the newer shape, some may say that Hein's Pffft was the most extreme of the bug eyes yet with the no scoop and spoiler look, was quite the sleeper.

and Tino's the best of the peanuts in terms of modifications/most extensively modified. there are surprisingly not that many heavily modded wrx's which are no GC8's.

Daryl: Does Dan know you love him?

WRXRW - any man brave enough to push boundaries that dont really exist gets my vote.

first car that made me fall in love with rexies...was NGH!! saw it at autosalon in its orange, shaved and wingless phase...Beautiful Machine.

WRXRW...its sleepa look look never caught my eye, in my younger days, but now after having a better idea of everything that has been done, definately my favourite!

And absolutely love with a passion...Scotty's EVO 4...woah!!

no real favourite that covers all genre's i guess, but i preger GO to SHOW
Sean from All Star's GTR ETA for its stealth exterior that hides a brutally quick combo (the driver sure helps)
ex Blaise & Clint's RA for being a well put together package that was quick on the track but still pretty civil on the street, and no one really knew what it was unless they knew..

I think nats NGH was, mainly for the fact that it was different and stood out from every one else at the time.It was a sick lookin ride and had the power to back it up,also the fact that i painted and nat actually helped out and got his hands dirty aswell, dont get that very often.
