A car which will be up there which i doubt anyone has seen apart from Paul Rayner(22B) is Muzza'a Supercharged Vortex. Still a unfinished project but will be killer once finished.

You cant got past the original "RW" you must remember the plates are on the S201 now.

And for the old schoolers [ANTHONY] I bet most of the guys here were driving VL's and VN's with pursuit's back then.

Anthony Cardille's green beast. I was driving a 5.0L VN ex-chaser back in the day. He use to run a dirty T4 (iirc) with 30psi and avgas, and frequent subaru for warranty work on many occasions That thing upset MANY of the V8 fraternity NOR, just as the rex was hitting the scene.

car was a legend around Maccas tuart hill. warranty work was awesome. never has there been one car with sooooooo many gearbox failures under warranty. would kill anything this side of a sports bike.
remember the guys at Metro Motors Morley showing us the engine bay "it's the closest thing to a rally car on the streets........ we can't figure why it keeps blowing gearboxes and melting pistons though".

well the best in my book is the explicit wagon and RW mobile. Nothing comes close imo to their build quality...

I dunno about best GC8, there was a lot better examples of GC8's during that period, a large number of them have been listed here...

it was certainly one of the hardest driven, the amount of events it did over a 3-4 year period was massive, and despite the minimal amount of mods it had, it was a very sorted car,but never really had any big issues, aside from wear and tear stuff like brakes, tyres and in the end the gearbox got tired..

is still kicking around in the hands of someone else but going strong to this day

still regret selling it, but saddly it had to make way for the new project which im still finishing off...

but cheers for the props, good to see someone remembered her
