I just bought a Exedy sports tuff clutch for our GC8 and fitted it.

According to the Exedy website the official distributors in WA are Coventries. They quoted me $900 for the clutch plate and pressure plate.

We got the Clutch plate, pressure plate, spigot bearing, thrust bearing and aligning tool for $550 delivered off ebay. The guy uses the username brakeandclutch so I presume its the northern brake and clutch that Joe mentioned. The clutch was here in a week and I fitted it myself so all in all probably a saving of $600 by the time we paid labour and bought the bearings.

Yeh ive been told anything more then a HD clutch on a stock 5 speed will strip it, I would say it would really depend in what you are doing with it, ie really hard launches = blown gearbox
