Default Modding an 08 sti

A friends friend has recently purchased a 2008 betty sti. Based in Dubai so assuming a 2.5l...

So has informed me that friend wants to mod it and is not overly concerned on costs.....

So, suggestions.....

Im thinking you would aim for 450hp at the fly. Would be a very zippy betty.

Whats out there for the betty? Thinking of hitting the trust or HKS catalogue hard....T67-25g or 3037 turbo size FMIC....intake, zaust.....colilovers, sways, bushings, braces.....

But what of the ecu? Also who could tune it? That really is the decider....

any clues?

Where would you purchase from? I would suggest nengun etc or maybe even a US supplier?

The Coilovers that are available are pretty harsh ATM. For a daily he might want to wait till more friendly versions come out (assumption).

I have Whiteline Springs, Adjustable Sways and Rollcentre kit on order.

The standard supension is pretty good but the body roll and hieght gets to me.

I disagree...KW Clubsport kit is compliant as a daily drive!

Tell you friend the first thing to do is make the engine stronger after that the world is your oyster!!

Bruce's suspension setup is a good way to start on handling.
ECUTek and exhaust are a good way to start on a modest power-up...but in Dubai?...hmmm...tricky...
I suggest that he contacts MMS (after Targa west) for some advice.

In this case I suggest you visit iwsti.com and see what yanks have done with betty sti to date in terms of tuning..plenty of info specific to subject.
