or blow the 257 up on the way to a 207 : )

Some great advice so far, sounds promising...Do you think cooling will be an issue? Especially with a FMIC....Oil cooler, PWR radiator (Custom)? needed?

Search isti, good thinking, the yanks are geneally quick on this due to simply more numbers modding...

Motec is out...done!

MMS, do they have any UAE connections? Maybe RT might?

KW make some really high end stuff. Good thinking, external resivoirs and all!

we are almost home already...

As for getting things, could you just handball it to a workshop and get them to source it? If they guy is serious about tuning it you could always fly over a tuner, source a local dyno....

It would be worth it...When your going to dump say 30K (min) on mods in one hit whats another 2 or 3k to put up the tuner for a few days?

What, why's that? Doesn't Dubai have telephones? Am I missing something?

He only needs advice off them for a start just to get him going in the right direction. Besides, with seemingly deep pockets there is no reason he couldn't arrange to ship over modded parts or even an entire built engine etc.

Pull the engine out. Chuck in some Forged pistons, Rods, Sleeves and good head studs.

Add a bolt on gt3076 (Like a Blouch 3.0). Exhaust Headers, 3" Turbo back exhaust, free flowing intake, and front mount intercooler. De-cap the injectors and Tune it all up with a motec or whatever tuning options you have in Dubai (I'd imagine you'd be pretty spoilt for choice with good tuners in Dubai considering all the full on hypo cars up there).

VERY Basic idea for what you would need for a good 450hp at the flywheel car. Keeping the 2.5 would make the Gt30 pretty responsive. You'd hit full boost by 3500rpm no worries.

hmmm because u cant tune an ecutek 10,000 miles away... unless hes going to pay for them to go over to dubai... and if ur going to do that then ur better getting a standalone ecu..

And i think there are ALOT more cheaper and better alternatives like COSWORTH/AXIS then to go to a small engine builder...

Pete,

u shouldnt have any cooling issues using the stock radiator unless hes planning on racing. If so he should be alright with the stocky for a few laps imo before hell need to cool it down..

Seems like he just wants a monster engine and moster car for driving around..

Local support is the key imo tell him to go looking around for some workshops and see whats on offer.

Cosworth is breakable trust me Make sure he has every fail safe possible in place to protect it. By the sounds of it though his failsafe is the pocket that reaches to the ground PM sent.
