Man, what a car! 400HP is insane!

Congrats on the numbers, it is good to see this kind of thread making it's way back to the forum rather than the usual, what will a verso tune do to my car thread.

once again... congrats!

You can't have an HKS turbo and not keep the bling heat shield!

Looks pretty stock..except for the gate. They probably have no idea the turbo is right at the front, anyway.

Very nice! Why does it get to 4750 rpm really smooth then taper off suddenly? Sorry to ask a probably stupid question.

good question Russ, no idea tbh, possibly starting to see a restriction somewhere at that point. Certainly can't feel it on the road... ha ha

As i understand it:

Torque builds as boost builds: as its not reached full boost yet it is still increasing in a linear fashion, nice and smooth. At ~4750 the hairdryer has reached full boost and so the wastegate creeps open. boost pressure drops and so does the torque. from that point on everytime the boost solenoid does its thing and the wastegate opens or closes the power/torque output fluctuates. A hub dyno like the dynapack at ASG displays this much more accurately than a roller dyno such as Hyperdrive, RMS etc use. In those cases the momentum of the wheels acts as a flywheel to smooth out fluctuations.

I think
