Default Question about the 08 STi

Hey Guys,

I'm currently looking to get a 08/09 STi and was wondering what the difference between the STi and the STi Spec R is ??

Had a quick look on Subaru.com.au and the only difference i could see was the recaro seats and the rims, is this all that is different between two?

Thanks

That is the only difference, and after luxury car tax, its almost a 10k jump in price once you get it on the road.

Save your coin and get the normal STi.

Well, I have had the pleasure of taking a Spec R round the track and my non Spec R.

Happy with my choice of non Spec R (seat wise).

Those wheels are not fun to clean on the spec R from a couple of Spec R owners I spoke to.

Oh, and that is the only difference (seats and wheels).

Save your coin and put it into lighter wheels with less spokes and other mods (save LCT).

The R-spec rims are lighter & the recaros are mint at the track! The R-spec rims look better too IMO.
