Default PSI Tuning

I am thinking about taking my car to PSI tuning when I get back to perth.

Any feedback available on what they are like?

Thanks

I have taken 3 cars to PSI and have had no problems.

I think the idea is to be there when your car is tuned, that way you can keep an eye on things.

Cheers

Yep I have had two cars with Unichips/ APS Kits tuned by Brett and Steve at PSi and they have always done an excellent job. Never had an issue.

I want a safe tune on my car, what is the most boost I can run etc fairly safely?
I think my car is running really rich when I start it up you can smell the petrol.

what should I be telling them with regards to what I want from my set up?

I have most of the basic stuff!
VF23 turbo
Hyperflow TMIC
walbro 500hp pump
unichip with boost module
APS CAI

I use the car mainly on the street and have started using for long drives eg: perth to Kalgoorlie 600kms

have had several cars tuned by brett and does a reasonable job..quite a knowledgable bloke & knows his shit with most ecu's & is far cheaper than other reputable workshops...(tho some will argue u get what u pay for?)

in all honesty, id suggest that some (not all as some prob maybe true) stories about psi ususally come from people whos mates sisters boyfriends brothers uncles mates friends that have had an engine blown up by brett at some point in time and same goes for other stories in regards to him poppin boxes on roadtests etc in customers cars...
