TEIN Super Street Damper Coilovers
As we all know when we think of TEIN suspension, sore ass comes to mind :o
But the good ppl at Fulcrum (Aust distributor) apparently redesign these to suit the Aust road conditions. Anyone tried it or know someone who has? Any feedback would be appreciated. |
Apparently they dont go low enough for some people...
|
decent and one of the cheaper coilovers on the market.
you can also hook up the electronic damper control onto them |
they feel and handle really good. not harsh at all
not alot of height adjustment |
wow, apparantly the product's only been here 3mths and you guys tried already!
i am not into the "fozzy dump" style of lowering, a couple of fingers height between the guard & the wheels is all i need.:D what's the reason these are cheaper compare to other big brands like whiteline or H&R? what's the trade off here? (they're not much cheaper if you add the electronic damper adjustment gadget thingy) |
Fozzy's style is weak :)
They will be low enough for what you are after in that case. They are meant to be the most comfortable of the Tein range and I think they are pretty cheap. But if you say with EDFC they are close to G4 price range then I'd stretch to the G4's. |

I was curious about them a few months ago too.. |
at the lowest setting my back tyre is inline with the wheel arch and front wheel arch is about 20mm above the tyre.
|
what is defined as cheap?
|
Well they are the cheapest of the Tein range. I think they are about $2,500 from one of the local places?
