Default RT615's

Hi guys, well it looks like I've managed to purchase a 06 STi. However I have been told it needs a set of tyres. I just called Tempe and they quoted $300/tyre inc freight over here. Does this seem reasonable? What are rough costs for fitting and alignment etc? Does anyone have other recommendations?
Cheers,
James

depends where you go my local shop does tyre and rim swaps for me for about $20 (swapping 4 tyres to 4 other rims)on a sat morning. i have payed $15 for one tyre to be swapped to another rim once which I thought was a bit hefty.
don't quote me but its about $80 to have front and rear wheel alignment. Go to Wilkinson Suspension in Bayswatter they can do your Tyre fitment and if you speak to Brett he brings Tempe gear in so could do it all for you.

Can do the same or better locally I would have thought.

Go see Shane at Exley Tyres in Willeton or John at Wheels World in Osborne Park.

Just got off the phone to John, and he recommends the Hankook RS2's. They are a bit cheaper as well. Looks like I'll be going down that road. Thanks guys.
Cheers,
James

RT615's are a better tyre.......by a fair bit imo too. RS2 are still very good though.
