Thanks for all the advice. Just wondering, the firehawks on the rear are near new, would it really be such a problem on the centre diff if I put different brand of tyres on the front? I can see that it might cause some problems in a 4WD car if you are getting different levels of grip from the front and back wheels, but I would rather not have to waste two near new rears.

So, maybe a full set of G3's or Sumitomo HTRZ2's ??? The toyo's do sound to soft. Anyone used Ventus K102's??

rexnet boys say that T1Rs isnt that soft and should last much longer than 6000miles and its sticky as shit stick on a blanket

I have decided to go with 4 new firestone wide ovals. $165 fitted and balanced for a 16" 87W tyre is pretty good in my book and the reviews and compo tests on Tyrerack were glowing, better than much more expensive tyres.

Hopefully I'll be stoked!!!
