Default Front end light under acceleration

Question for someone in the know,

When accelerating hard, my front end feels light, i.e. I feel like I cant have proper steering control under hard accelleration. It just feels like shit, I know my front tyres might have worn a bit, would a fresh wheel alignment be a good thing to do?

It almost feels like it lifts, I thought the ALK was meant to stop this? Probably useless post and should just take it somewhere.

Cheers

my car feels light under hard acceleration some times, if the road is uneven and gets the wheels spinning, though i just figure it is normal

Yeah cheers mate, it very well might be then. Just sometimes I get uneasy about it. Heh will get an alignment and some new tyres and see how that goes.

Cheers

Get an Anti Lift Kit, it's designed to .. stop the front end from lifting and feeling light.

x2 - Normally on uneven surfaces that are on corners.

Ohh yeah sounds the same for me, I think I will just stop complaining, it is usually when comming from a turn onto a main road when I nail it in first, must be wheels spinning after all.

Sounds like torque steer to me, try an alignment. Do you have a roll centre kit?

Torque steer think you are on the winner there. I also have an ALK.

I have coil overs, 24mm f+r sways, the rear is a bit tigher, first notch I think. ALK and roll centre kit.

Might try get it setup again.

Sounds like it's way too stiff, suspension needs to be able to move a bit or it's going to want to lift the front on cornering under acceleration, maybe try setting the rear bar down to about 22 & try sticking the stock front bar back in, if you had torque steer it would be trying to pull the wheel out of your hand.
