no chance - i doubt a full slick would win against Notaras/Beaumont, etc... and their cars.

It's not all about the car. My car finished 2nd outright driver (I was the co-driver) beating the Notaris and Beaumont car and 4th as a crew. And mine is far from a big $ light weigh race car. It's all about having a consistent weekend with few errors and having consistent pace at every event.

Agreed to a degree.

If it is a dry weekend you would want an absolute minimum of 250kw atw and make no mistakes. You know that jones / Gazzard et al has 300+ and will drive with minimal errors.

If it is wet then it is anyones game. Will all the porsches please sit down. When I won in the wet I only had 195kw atw and had an average of 10th place.

When jones won this year he had an average of about 4th place. Awesome effort.

Looks like 2009 Dutton is on the weekend of 22-24th May.

And from an earlier post, I believe it's a 2kg fire extinguisher - not 1kg.

I've seen those dates 'booked out' on the MC Motorsport & WASCC calenders - no 'official' dates yet - I think the official dates may be released in 1-2 weeks.
