hi guys

as im lookin at buy a WRX soon, what are the diffrent type's of models i heard some have dual air bags etc etc..

if someones got a list of the diffrent models and specs that would be great, im after info on the older shape WRX not the new one

Standard MY99/00 WRXs have dual airbags

the 98 have the same dash as the 99/00 but only passenger side airbags ? is this correct ?

the 98 does not come with any airbags, not mine

but there's a special edition 98 which comes with driver's airbag

94 - 96

Momo steering wheel with no air bags
Nardi gear knob
Non race seats (read : crappy)
Plain dash with cup holder but no compartments
Air con, ABS, power steering, electric windows etc
94's had alloy bonnet

The 94 - 96 have the larger TD05 turbo (laggy) with a 90degree bend to the air filter. The also had very small air to air intercoolers. Gearbox's are very sloppy on the 1st - 2nd gear change.

These models usually go for between $12000 - $16000

I had a 98 model. no air bags.. Im looking for a new one soon.. I would love an old one again.. but thats the only prob the age they are the least already 5 years old...
and i wana keep my next one for a long time.. so im gonna get new shape
air bags, smooth interior, smoother ride, ... etc etc but yeah i always prefered the older shape..

So where the passenger side airbag is on the 99/00, its a compartment on the 98 ??

No they only had the mirrors & door handles colour coded
