Default stupid sub & amp

sub and amp have been working perfectly for ages!

i took the sub out to fit some stuff in the boot, and now i've put it back in it wont work!!!!!

can any one see anythign wrong here????? i cant even get the sub to make a 'clicking sound' or anything.......

maybe I've blown the amp? or sub?

I've switched around the + & - , no luck, no noise, no popping sound, also i labeled the wires before i unplugged them..... so in theory..... they sould all be back in the right spots.

there was a brief period i was driving around without the sub fastened down, it wasn't plugged in, just smashing around in the boot........ i think i may have just answered my own question.......

any ideas?????

I'm gunna go with unscrewing the remote on lead and screwing it back down. Also try turning the key in the ignition to the on position for future tests

Grab a Multimeter and check that Voltage is getting to the AMP.

If there is no Voltage check the fuse and replace if needed

is there a chance the speaker wires to the sub were able to touch together/short out when the sib was removed??
if so I would think that you may well have blown the amp.

touching speaker wires together wouldnt blow the amp.

Recheck your connections, maybe its just the angle of the photo(s) but the remote wire doesnt look like the best connection.

But yeah, as the guys said, check fuses, and check that the amp is getting power.

the verdict:

looks like i pulled out the other wires before i pulled out the b+ (battery cable)
this blew the fuse up near the battery.

*few*

so not to expensive

for future reference, if your going to take out your amp/sub, take out the battery cable first, then tape it up to avoid blowing it

all good now, DnB just aint the same without the B
