Not everything that Bosch makes is good
So I decided to replace my stuffed rear pads with some "OEM" specification pads....Bosch make an OEM replacement pad, so I thought I'd give it a shot...couldn't hurt, right?
BIG mistake. Take a look at the below picture and keep in mind, these pads were professionally installed and have done less than 200 kilometres on freshly machined rotors. What you can see is a rotor that has been gouged out way beyond use. I can't have them machined again, to machine off that much material will make them below minimum thickness....so basically, the Bosch pads have fucked the rotors in less than 200km. Note to self - DO NOT buy those pads ever again. |
What was the model number for the pads??
That looks pretty bad mate!! |

holy crap...
is there some warrenty or anything to cover that? |
Warranty for sure!? Thats fkn bs, have you been in touch with Bosch?
|
I will be.
Got these pads about 12 months ago, have no receipt that I can find or the box...but I've only just gotten around to installing them now. The pads are marked with brand and part number, so it shouldn't be too hard...and seeing as I bought it through my business, Coventrys should have it on record too. |
China Discs.
