Reliability, efficiency and most of all comfort is key with a new family hack. Having gone down this road when Sofia was born last year I would go the Tribeca, possibly some nice wheels and a suitable ride height. The more room the better. An 09 foz would be great etc, but in the end the novelty will wear off, and you still have the GTB so go with the head not the heart.

Can't say I'd consider another 08+ Subaru...all I've heard is quality problems right across the entire product range! Me would be looking elswhere.....

Subaru have never let me down but I can't say that for Chyrsler, GM, Ford, etc. I am going to drive this car on an irregular basis at best. My wife on the other hand will be carting my son around. The Tribeca looks safe as chips to me.

A very good friend of mine recently had their first child and was in the market for well built, safe, reliable and ergonomically friendly (putting bub in and out of, shopping etc.) family car. They had it narrowed down to two cars until his wife spotted a silver Tribeca with dark tinted windows in a car park. They took one for a test drive and bought one a few days later. Four months down the track and they are very happy with their choice. They got the leather interior with scotch guard. As for the power side - they are happy how responsive it is and ample power on tap considering the purpose of the car. Their other two cars are a HSV and a HSV GTS which Mum has donned the helmet and dragged at the plex, a bit of a rev head too!
I have seen JDM sisters White 09XT around town and it’s an awesome looking car.
Good luck with your choices.

There both as good as each other.

The foz does have a better looking front end.

Very hard to pick between them.

Been thinking about it some more and now I reckon I would lean towards the Tribeca simply because it is better suited to the purpose for which u r buying it. Looks wise I think it something that would grow on me. Family first. Forry would start to get pretty small once u have pram shopping etc in there.

Goodluck with the decision mate.

Decide which is more important to you
more space/mummy mobile => Tribeca
more grunt => Foz
