Rice.

The 'stock' exhaust on the 204 isnt a bad piece of kit, still has decent restriction but not as bad as the suffocating pos from the ADM models.

Al,

The dump bellmouth is actually quite generous, and feeds directly into the default subaru cat, then into the lagoon looking muffler which then spills 2.5" through the straight through Ti STi muffler. Theoretically you could punch the cat, remove the centre muffler and you'd have a have decent 2.5" system. Its more audible than ADM factory but still sounds like a rustling paper bag at full tilt. Its pretty damn good for a compromised oem epa compliant system, but in the end, its still compromised.

at the hubs.

Very happy for a stock tune. Decided to stick to 20 pounds for initial tune, factory actually runs 22 (rated at 320hp & 430nm - not far off) but will give it a red hot go once i've got more k's on it, fit up the zorst and cai. For now though its safe as houses and drives extremely compliant.

More than enough for some fun @ collie :-)

My Spec C with a VF42, CAI and full TBE made the following power :-

289hp
436nm
at the hubs, on the same dyno.

So a few simple mods will yield more for you jme.

cheers

Spec C's are programmed to run the following boost profiles.

2800 - 1.1 bar
3200 -> 4800 - 1.4 Bar - (Peak)
5600 - 1.3 bar
6400 -> end 1.1 bar.

Now since you're running a consistant pressure, you're gonna see yields.

The 22 pound would be due to weather variance then anything else and at best its only a short peak spike too.

That said, its still an impressive mound and the figures quoted are most likely at the crank (engine figures), so you're still well ahead of the game.
