After some feedback please, I am thinking of selling my complete RAW motor, the following is all the spec's :-

Short Block -

· 2.5 Litre STi semi-closed deck case
· Modified forged EJ257 crankshaft
· High Performance Main & Rod Bearings
· Pauter 4340 Chrome-Moly Forged Rods
· CP Forged Pistons w/ Moly Coated Skirts
· High Performance Piston Rings
· Fully Balanced & Blueprinted
· 8,500 Rev Limit Recommended
. Better Oil Pump, RAW do something to standard oil pump

Heads -
. STI Spec C heads - polished/ported
. Kelford cams, not sure of spec, specially ground to suit HKS GT2835 turbo
. ARP Head Studs
. Supertech Valve spring kit - Dual valve springs, titanium retainers, new spring seats, and keepers
. 750cc Injectors

Other -

. HKS GT2835 turbo
. Silicon intake
. Twin scroll headers and up-pipe

So what is this worth, the whole motor ready to go into someone's Subaru??

replacement value is obviously a lot more then someone is prepared to buy it for.

current conditions, if you got $8k, id say well done.

i was offered 10k for my built motor which i said no to, so you be looking at 8-10k imo..

however replacing it with a standard motor ur not going to get much change back prolly 2k at best imo.. Not really worth the hassle..

Just sell the car as a whole or leave it in there..

Below is the 'real' cost for the items :-

. Short Block - $6000.00
. Kelford Cams - $1300.00
. Turbo - $3000.00 (More like $4K now)
. Heads - $2000.00 (At a guess, Spec C)
. Valve Kit - $500.00
. Head Work - $1500.00
. Headers - $1500.00
. Injectors - $500.00

That comes to $16K.

I know it's not new now, but all the works done for someone!

Mmmm gonna have to watch this thread and the for sale section now...

Would go well with my new plate....

Was this for the whole shabang, turbo, injectors etc.
