Standard WRX and Club Spec Evo WRX Edition Differences?

Before I posted this I did do a search but I couldn't find anything on PWRX in relation to it..

But what are the differences between Normal WRX's and Club Spec Evo Versions?

I couldn't find much documentation on this. Perhaps a sticky with this info is in order?

Leather seats and sunroof on the later ones.

Early ones just had a diff coloured interior insets??

So basically it is a marketing gimmick by Dealers to tack a bit more money onto a normal WRX as an upsell? (Not unlike Revolution Spec 2 door Lancer shitboxes?).

Was the leather just a leather retrim of the factory seats? Or more gumby, less hugging seats?

I have a feeling that were never sold for more than a stocker. Limited run at the same price. I think.

mine is obviously a diff colour with the yellow inserts in the seats instead of the usual red. But the black limited one, not evo have the leather seats

no performance or trickery differences, only but trim & wheels.

Nothing like Revo Lancers as there are not a dealer marketing gimmick, these are actual Subaru Aust release's which are sometimes based on overseas limited edition wrx's.

CS3 for example was sold under a differant name is Europe but was exactly the same and im pretty sure they were originally based on the RB5 UK release but were dumbed down for other countries.

Same with the CS4's the colour comes from a limited edition V6 STi.

So they are more than just a name and stickers on most LTD EDT's.

They were sold for a little over the price of a std wrx,
say $1500+ or there a bouts.

MY99 WRX Club Spec 3 differences over regular MY99 WRX.

Blue Steel Metallic Paint which was only available on the MY00 V6 STi in Oz.
Gold painted wheels.
Alcantara Blue STi 22B Interior. (Grippier seats - far nicer interior than 99 WRX)
Colour coded mirrors, door handles and side skirts.
Infra Red Central locking with map lights on the roof.
Metallic look paint on the central dash surround.
No split fold rear seat - a steel bar runs behind the rear seats.

I'm not sure if side intrusion bars in the doors are in there as well. I know the MY00 WRX got 'em.
