i find that little rear fog light in the back stops tailgaters pretty quickly.. its pretty bright, and it seems to work.. maybe not on another subaru driver because they also have the light.. and might be onto that.. but it seems to work when i have other people tailgating me down the freeway when im already doing 10k's over..

Had some stupid bitch ina BMW tailgaiting us, she backed right off when she heard the popping, i really hate people that do that, just wish i was rich enough to be able to brace myself and just pull on the handbrake assuming that no one is behind them of course
