I don't miss my boxer rumble at all, get a titanium muffler
if you want a good sound with equal length headers

Yep dak dak box rumble for me as it has unequal length headers. Bilstein suspension is good but not to look at. The gap in between the fender and tyre is very large imo.

I reckon the Billies are fine when combined with a TEIN or similar spring...

The stocker springs are lift-kit...

+1 for Hi-Tech quad mufflers as well!

The Bilstein dampers are technically superior to just about any coilover short of an Ohlins. Fit lowered springs and the job's done.

here in lies the problem with a brand new model. No lowering springs even on the market for this new model GT and from the looks of it will need some serious lowering.

Yeah, was always going to keep the Bilsteins.....I'm sure Tein will come out with something very soon spring wise.

Bottom of the page has got pics of the new setup.....but looks like there's no big need for aftermarket headers there, stock exhaust is stainless too apparently......the curved cat is a strange thing to do, wonder whether anything aftermarket will need to replicate that or if it can be positioned further down stream. O2 sensors will need to bolt straight into the cat by the looks of it too.

yep thats the one. Yet to drive one but I may do soon. I am led to believe that a flash and dash will net you the best bang for buck. It would be the very first thing I did to the new GT if I had one. Stock maps from subaru are generally very retarded and rick as.

I may have to choose between a demo 08 Lib GT tuned by STI and a new 09 Lib GT next week!

easy choice I reckon but if its for your missus then the new model which I will refer to to as Camrissan GT is probably the way to go.
