the 1k from motorvation over the years has help cover a lot of the costings but the last two years finishing 2nd back to back with AFARCC has put a dent in the coffers. hopefully in 2010 this goes back in our favour.

i personally think a c-note donation should be given at a bare minimum and if people want to contribute more to the growth then that should be free also.

this "club" sure has come a long way since those early individual emails off the egroup variety and i will champion anything that the mass decides but i would prefer a much smaller, closer? group of paying members.

We won motorvation in 2008, only came second in 2009. 2008's $1000 went to Stace's account, I'm assuming, to be put back into perth-wrx and the hosting costs. 2010, should see the restoration of Perth-WRX in first place.

heh, considering it took 10 months for the 'plex to contact me in regards to where to put the money..

you'd be suprised on the interest i earned on $1000 in the 2months it sat in my account... I can donate that $0.12 to the forum too if it would make you happy.

You know only a few days ago I was wondering how this forum operates with all the costs involved, as there isn't advertising plastered all over it.

I've only been on here for a few months and I have learnt more about my car than I could have imagined. Not to mention the gains made to my ever increasing arsenal of toilet humour.
