The ticket should say how many points it is. when you pay it check
the slip they send you in the mail with demerit summary. If there
is a difference (ie, ticket says 2 points and demerit summary says 4) then
you may be able to challenge it. This is based on the assumption that
you (the defendant) pleaded guilty (paid the fine) on the basis that the
penalty would only be 2 points. You could claim that if the ticket had
said 4 points then you would not have pleaded guilty (paid the fine) and
would have let the matter proceed to court.

You may be able to argue you way out of the extra points based on this.

Speaking about speeding etc.. 2 people got done 2 weeks ago on the mandurah to bunbury bypass in lake clifton doing 245km in a porsche and 215km in some dunnydoor.
The 215km person got 6 months license suspension. WTF should be longer shouldnt it???

We have dickheads who constantly do burnouts in my street, we call the Police but they never come. They have more important things to do like raise some Revenue for the Government coffers.

I read the stats on the radar units they have on the patrol cars
and they have trouble if the closing speed is creater than 300kmh.
That means if the patrol car is doing 110, then if you are heading
towards him over 190 then his radar will not get you. However
some of the new ones may be different.

8th of jan, what a bloody joke. seems everytime we have a long weekend or something and double demerits comes in they stretch it out too last longer.

i was thinking that to lol. U plan on speeding and losing ur licence?
I saw the sirens and light for a non emergency today. Copper turned down an exit ramp and realised he wasnt suppose to. So stopped put his lights on and went off road and onto a bike path drove up the bike path (fenced off till u get on anketelle road) and then drove along anketelle. IM like talk about abuse of power.
