Make a new model in the STi range and only have a carbon roof... oh and lets just throw in auto tranny for shits and giggles.

Agreed its a crazy idea but if the roof makes production it will be coming to a rally stage near you in the near future.

Teams will fit the roof for sure. OEM parts for the win.

Maybe its because I look at it every day...

But that looks awfully like the Evo X flappy paddles behind the wheel.

Is it definately a slush box or has Subaru shown their version of the TC-SST?

Doesn't appear to John... borrowed from the legacy would mean reasonably slush-box-spec!

P.S - I like the roof!

there must be a market in japan for it because an RA-R with an auto box (shock horror) has come up once before. the a-line returns ridicolous fuel consumption in the low 8lt/100kms as for driving impressions, well...its not a bad gearbox and in sports mode its actually fun in an lightweight special (with spec c trimmed seats) i don't see it being a bad thing!

if i was a betty owner i would be on japanparts right now looking for that part number on that roof!
