Default How fast where you going son ?

I have a friend who went through a multanova at 140+
in a 70 zone. The unit flashed but the fine never arrived.
Can you go too fast for it ? Was the car out of frame by the
time it decided to take a photo ? Who knows !

How fast have you... Oops... your friends gone and escaped
a fine by the skin of their teeth ? Bad cameras ? Stupid cops ?
Nice boobs ? How did you get out of it ?

i've got flashed so many times and the fine didn't come, was over by range of 10-20km/h, no idea why, there's once with a car next to me, other times, no cars, nothing, just lucky i guess.

for the amount of money those cameras are worth, surely they would beable to catch you at speeds higher than 140 ?

wouldnt they ??

i think top gear did this test ages ago, they reckoned you needed to buy doing something like 170mph i think it was (brit units ) too beat a gatso.

generally if theres 2 cars in the shot or around you no ticket is issued. Could also be camera ran out of film ? has happned to a m8 a few times

of course the camera can photograph you at speeds of more than 140kmh.....just look at the newspaper or news. There are quite a few reports of people being caught at over 200kmh, like a guy in a 911 last week towards Mandurah.

I have also escaped a few fines, most likely because there was another car in the frame - but not entirely sure.

The licensing department is outdated and stupid here. Know that the address on your license and your postal address with them are not necessarily the same and fines could be getting sent to the wrong place. This happened to a former flatmate of mine. The first he knew of it was when the cops showed up to his door to take his license and tell him about his upcoming court appearance.
