Drift Racer: Kaido Battle is the authentic simulation of Japan's latest street racing craze, bringing the sport of "drift racing" to video games. Set on the notoriously treacherous mountain roads of Japan known as the Kaido, the game gives players the chance to experience the life of an underground drift racer on the very proving grounds where the racing form was born. Drift Racer: Kaido Battle has more than 150 licensed cars from over a dozen manufacturers, with detailed car tuning using sponsored race parts.

The game offers five modes of play for stylistic precision-driving, racing for 1 or 2 players and a career mode that pits players against nearly 200 underground racers in official daytime events and underground nighttime races. Drift Racer: Kaido Battle is tricked out with additional features, including environment effects for all four seasons, weather effects such as rain, snow and fog, replay movie galleries and licensed in-game music from known DJs.

Haha going thru some old posts and found this.

I got this game.... and what a mission it was to get it.
Awsome game... can get a bit boring if you play it for too long, but really hits on the internet/forum - car scene.

Graphics are definately on par with GT4 and handling is pretty sweet.
Can mod the hell out of the car, and adjust most things just like GT4. Scenery is awsome (ie: leaves blow up when you drive over them) and there are a SHIT load of cars to buy and race against.

I got it from EB games in Whitfords. Apparently each store only got 1 copy first off, so i ended up going to all the EB stores NOR and couldnt find 1 copy. Went back to Whitfords and apparently someone hadnt picked up their copy that was reserved so they sold it to me for $70

Give them a call and see if they can get it for ya. DEFINATELY worth a go.
