I've got a v7 207 with '00 heads, thinnest gasket (.8?) and still got low comp.

Thanks for the feedback re: my question- but you guys are running post 99 gear... I'm trying to work out if 02 short motor will marry with v3 heads etc.

Anyone else who can shed some light I would be eternally grateful...

Thanks Stace- but the pots are different shapes yeah? So what kind of compression will result from what I'm asking?? I have been told it's better to go for 99+ heads with this 207 as the V3 will be running >8.5 comp?
I plan to eventually run around 20psi give or take...

Others who race quite a bit are telling me this setup (207 + v3 heads) will ping it's nuts off Stace, and therefore require big head gasket???
(Becoming disolutioned)

If you have the time to spell it all out I'd be grateful...
