I had one before my GTI, was only a GX, couldn't afford a WRX, and in the mid 90's there were few secondhand one's. Plus insurance in NSW on a WRX at that time for someone under 25 was unthinkable.
I've had an early 80's sportswagon, a Fiori , and my brumby.

Bought mine new from Suby Wangara. Within literally 5 mins of picking up the car the windscreen cracked so did a U turn and drove straight back, they put a new one in the next day for me so was pretty happy with that.

I bought my MY00 from Allan at Totals in cannington. I think he is still in the game at Subaru in Vic Park.

Current one is JDM for the win!

Got my MY08 from Wangara. Ex-demo for a good price, but fuck the sales process was painful. Pressure, pressure, pressure, sign, sign, sign! Collect the car, get home and realize there is no spare key/remote. Rang them up...

6 weeks later I went and collected a brand new key
